Sedation Dentistry

For patients who feel stress and trepidation about dental procedures, we offer a relaxation technique that involves administering an anti-anxiety drug in combination with nitrous oxide. First, we review your medical history. If cleared by your MD, you will be given anxiolytic medication that will alleviate your anxiety. Before the dental procedure, you will be given nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, to make you comfortable. This technique is ideal for the dental phobic patient or a patient who needs hours of dental work completed in one session.
