Nothing can replace proper training and skill in dentistry, but advancements in technology can help Dr. Levy put his training and skill to its best use. By using the latest and most advanced technology, Cincinnati cosmetic dentist, Dr. Stuart Levy is able to provide you with safe and extremely effective care with the highest quality results.

 Anesthesia Wand

If you don’t enjoy needles (and who does?), this may be exactly what the doctor ordered: a pen-like device that measures out the exact amount of anesthetics you will need — and even pre-numbs the insertion site, so you will not feel a thing!

Dental Implants

Tooth replacement has taken a giant step forward with the use of dental implants. Dental implants are small titanium posts that replace the root portion of your missing tooth. A realistic dental crown is then connected to the implant to get a replacement tooth which looks and feels exactly like what nature gave you.

Digital X-Rays

Diagnostic x-rays are one of the most important pieces of dentistry and have been for many years. Digital X-Rays like the ones used in our office make x-rays safer and more useful than the x-rays used a decade ago. Digital x-rays cut your radiation exposure by as much as 90% compared to conventional x-rays. Some of the added benefits of digital x-rays are the speed at which the images become available and the detail of the images that they are able to reveal to Dr. Levy.

Intra-Oral Camera

An intraoral camera is small digital camera that is sometimes only a few millimeters long.  These tiny cameras give Dr. Levy the ability to see clear images of your teeth, gums and mouth.  The clear, accurate images generated by the small intraoral camera allow Dr. Levy to see details that may not be seen with standard mirror examinations.  This means faster diagnosis of dental problems which can lead to less time in the chair for you!

Laser Diagnosis and Treatment

One of the latest advancements in dentistry is the use of lasers.  Laser dentistry can be used to diagnose cavities early in which case the decay may be reversed.  Lasers can also be used to help fight periodontal disease.  The use of lasers had been proven safe in both children and adults.
