One of the most frequent questions we get is which Toothpaste should I use ? As you know there are many shapes and sizes. Many manufacturers continue to come up with new formulations which claim to whiten teeth, freshen breath and fight gum disease. In my opinion the 2 best for overall use are the Crest ProHealth line and Colgate Total. Be careful of the whitening pastes as we are seeing more gum irritation and sensitivity as these are more abrasive and can cause problems. The whitening claims come more from the ability to better remove stains. I have attached a list of toothpastes and their abrasive ranking. I suggest avoiding those above 100 /Medium Abrasive.
